Michael C. Green, Consultant

Michael C. Green brings to KGFilmLink a wide range of deal-making, project marketing, business development and international sales expertise that he acquired as an agent and as an executive/executive producer at several majors and independents.

During his years as the executive vice-president and driving force of Bonneville Worldwide Entertainment Film and Television, Mike planned and built the start-up division into a producer of motion pictures, a network-approved supplier of programs, an acquirer of world-wide rights, and an international sales company representing $50 million of quality programming.

Mike has executive produced independent feature films, facilitated international co-productions, arranged project financing for motion pictures, planned and executed production of network television series and movies in four Canadian provinces, and built public and private independent production companies. As a consultant for American and International clients, Mike established and enhanced global sales relationships and co-financing opportunities at the American Film Market, the Cannes Film Festival and other European markets, the Sundance Film Festival, and NATPE.

At International Creative Management, he was a literary and packaging agent with primary responsibilities for deal-making and negotiating with studios and major independents.

Mike's initial foray into international production and strategic partnering was as the chief operating officer of a joint venture between Universal Studios parent, MCA, and British firm, Thorn-EMI.

At American Cinema, as senior vice-president, production, he supervised all above-the-line aspects of feature films starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Dennis Quaid, Chuck Norris and others.

As president of Edgewood Film Partners, Mike's focus was raising print and advertising funds for Paramount Pictures, Fox and others. A founding partner of China Media Partners, Mike connected American and international entertainment companies with strategic partners and allies in China. His credentials include being an executive at 20th Century-Fox and before that a producer and executive at ABC Television Network and ABC Entertainment, the network's programming division.

Mike is an emeritus member of the Writers Guild of America. He has a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Michigan. Mike taught a wide-ranging entertainment business strategy course in the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television's Professional Programs curriculum.
