Kelly Green, President

Kelly Green, President of KGFilmLink Inc., is a twenty year veteran of the independent film community. Representing international motion picture distributors worldwide. She was born and educated in several languages in Cairo, Egypt. Due to political circumstances, her family was forced to immigrate to France and subsequently established resident in Canada. In 1965, Kelly moved to the United States and started her business career with Bank of America in Los Angeles. After four years in banking, and taking an interest in the entertainment field, Kelly studied production, script writing and directing at Cal State Northridge. She joined husband Michael Green then producing trailers and other films for television networks.

Kelly joined the highly respected Bjorck Film Corporation in 1989. She was promoted to Vice-President, Acquisitions in 1995.

In 2001, Kelly and Penny Karlin bought Bjorck Film Corporation from veteran Lennart Bjorck, and they subsequently renamed the company Karlin-Green Media Inc. They ran KGMI as co-presidents through 2009. Kelly earned the reputation of producing the most useful and thorough compilation of market-to-market product guides in the industry. Servicing her clients at the EFM in Berlin, the Marche' du Film in Cannes, AFM and other global festivals, Kelly employed her international background as well as fluency in English, French, Spanish and Arabic.

In 2010, Kelly founded her new company, KGFilmLink Inc., dedicated to acquiring the best and most suitable films available for independent distributors in their respective territories.

Kelly lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Michael Green. They have two daughters, Candice, an AVID editor at CNBC, and Lindsay, an architect at Gensler Associates.
